Training Options

Our Professional Development Team provides school districts with the flexibility to drive the training their teachers receive and the ability to tailor training to address the unique needs of their district.

Option 1 – CNIC, Inc. Training

All Teachers Receive Quality Training with a CNIC PD Trainer:

 

  •  This is accomplished by conducting training in each school in a district.
  • Ideal choice for small school districts
  • Quality and execution of training is guaranteed.
  • Full SM Training: 3.0 hours  (If using teachers’ Planning Block times, Full SM Training: 3 hours over 2 days at 1.5 hrs/day)
  • Maximum class size: 30 attendees

Option 2 – CNIC, Inc. Training and Train the Trainer

CNIC PD Trainer conducts quality training for specific individuals who will train their peers.

CNIC PD Trainer would be available to conduct training at schools simultaneously as the Peer to Peer training is happening at other schools in the district.

 

  • This is accomplished by the school district identifying a group of people who will focus on providing training for their peers.
  • CNIC PD Trainer will provide comprehensive basic training along with an assessment to assure that peer trainers are prepared to conduct training.
  • Peer Trainers will conduct a mock training to demonstrate their confidence with teaching others in how to use the system.
  • Training dates will be discussed for the CNIC PD Trainer to conduct training in schools. Preferably on the same dates as peer trainers to accelerate the completion of the training in the district.
  • Train the Trainer SM Training with Peer Mock Training and Assessment: 6 hours (can be done in one day or spread over 2 days)
  • Ideal for large school districts

Option 3 – Train the Trainer Training

CNIC PD trainer conducts quality training for specific individuals who will train their peers.

CNIC PD trainer will return to the district periodically to conduct follow up and refresher sessions with peer trainers.

CNIC PD Manager will contact your district to assess how the peer to peer training is proceeding and will offer assistance as needed.

 

  • This is accomplished by the school district identifying a group of people who will focus on providing training for their peers.
  • CNIC PD trainer will provide comprehensive basic training along with an assessment to assure that peer trainers are prepared to conduct training.
  • Peer Trainers will conduct a mock training to demonstrate their confidence with teaching others in how to use the system.
  • Train the Trainer SM Training with Peer Mock Training and Assessment: 6 hours (can be done in one day or spread over 2 days)
  • Ideal for large school districts
  • Highly recommend that a schedule is created for the CNIC PD Trainer to return and conduct refresher training or assist with training
